Ride Report posted for “Spike”

We staged at local gas station with 16 bikes and 3 cages.  After briefing, we headed to a restaurant in Pleasanton where we were told to pick-up our package.  All of us parked and headed into this tiny restaurant to greet Captain Moyer.  Once we located him, we discovered he was dining with a few of his military friends that were also back from deployment.  We scurried out to the parking lot to come up with enough coins between us to take care of all the military heroes (thank God for Texas Rick)!  That was a surprise but we handled it well.

We then gathered everyone up and escorted Captain Moyer and his friends & family to the family home where various VSO’s were waiting – American Legion, Blue Star Moms, Lafayette Flag Brigade, Pleasanton Military Families and VFW to name a few.
As is typical Tri-Valley fashion, Captain Moyer received a true American Hero’s welcome with certificates, a 9-11 flag and coins.  Welcome Home Captain Moyer, Welcome Home!
