Ride Report posted for C-Bear

On a holiday weekend when so many people are seeking either their last bits of vacationing, or trying to just hide and rest, the Warrior’s Watch has been busy. Sunday, September 4 brought us the third mission of the weekend.

USAF Tech Sgt James Ferretti needed a WELCOME HOME Escort.
The call was answered in resounding fashion when 51 motorcycles (and a cage or three) showed up in the heat and humidity.  For some, it was their first mission ever, for others it was their third in 2 days.
Represented were the Warrior’s Watch, Nam Knights, CMA, Legion Riders, A Hero’s Welcome, the Yellow Ribbon Club, Last Patrol, HOG and some independent riders.  These riders weren’t just there … the Rally time was 16:15.
but when I arrived a little before 16:00 there were 8 or 10 people already there and waiting!
Our Heroes wife Linda was keeping us informed, and we were able to get a flag line in place to greet him as he exited the restaurant.  He was clearly floored (and very appreciative.)  We enjoyed support from the Voorhees Twp. PD and found equally good support from the Gibbsboro PD at our Heroes home, where the Yellow Ribbon Club was waiting eagerly, along with a contingent from the Gibbsboro Fire Department.
Cheers, honors, challenge coins and certificates were lavished on the man who in his speech said he didn’t deserve them because there were still so many yet to come home.  We told him in no uncertain terms that he IS worthy (every bit as much as those other heroes that we will gladly honor, given the opportunity.)
