Warriors Watch Riders were asked to welcome home SGT John Darhun on 06/07/2015, from his 1-yr deployment in Qatar…and that is just what we did. Our hero served 3 tours in Afghanistan, 1 tour in Iraq and 1 in Qatar.
John joined the US Army at age 18. He attended Army training in Ft Benning, GA. He grew up in Winslow and went through the Winslow school system. John is 32 years old, he is married with 1 child, has 3 brothers and 1 sister. John works as a machinist and enjoys golf and fishing during his down time.
We rallied at 165 White Horse Pike (OLD BIG LOTS) US Post Office Clementon NJ. Rally Time was, 1150(11:50am). There were 22 Bikes that picked up John and brought him home where there was a flag line and Operation Yellow Ribbon of South Jersey. The RC was WWR member and friend of Hero Matt Craytor. Matt Craytor coined our Hero. Reverand Floyd White of teh Camden County Veterans Affairs was there and presented a proclamation to John. We left John to a party his family.
