Warrior Watch Riders Ride report for  05/18/2015

Welcome Home for Sergeant Gio Maldonado US Army. Gio returned from his yearlong deployment from the Middle East. Sergeant Maldonado is married for one year to Megan they have 2 children, a 2 year old daughter and a one year old son. Scott House Bard was our RC. We meet at 2003 Mount Holly Road, Burlington, NJ. Gio was eating at an Applebee’s down the road along with his wife and some family. He arrived and 14 Bikes and 4 cages escorted him down route 295 south to the family home in Lindenwold, NJ. When we got to the home, Operation Yellow Ribbon of South Jersey had a flag line with many neighbors, family and friends. Since Gio was a member of the Lindenwold Fire Department there was a very large turnout of first responds waiting as well. The mayor of Lindenwold, assemblymen and Reverend White and Colonel Bancroft from the Camden County Department of veteran affairs were there and had presentations for Gio. Scott House Bard coined Sergeant Maldonado and presented the certificate as well.

Respectfully submitted,
