On November 8, 2013 the Warriors Watch Riders rallied in Vineland, NJ with members of the Patriot Guard, Red Knights and other riders to pickup our latest returning hero JD Gorgo.  JD had served in Afghanistan with the USMC retrieving damaged and out of commission vehicles including tanks, usually under fire from enemy forces.

We rode to JD’s parent’s home and as we came through the long wooded driveway we started letting him know we were there with horns beeping and engines revving.  JD came out with a huge smile on his face along with his parents, sisters and girlfriend.  He jumped at the opportunity when given the choice to ride on a motorcycle instead of 4-wheeling it to his welcome home celebration at Millville City Hall.  As we rode to the celebration people were beeping their horns and waving at JD as we went by.

At City Hall we were greeted by Mayor Shannon who escorted us up to the front steps of City Hall.  JD was honored by Congressman Frank LoBiondo with a Congressional Proclamation and Assemblyman Bob Andrzejzcak, himself a wounded Army vet who lost his leg after an anti-tank grenade hit his convoy in Iraq.

JD was then presented with the Warriors Watch Coin and Certificate and then a basket of goodies from the City of Millville.  JD and his family were over-whelmed by the outpouring of support from their community.
