Ride Report for Ride Captain Glen DeVries
The Warrios Watch Riders had the honor of welcoming home SPC Christopher Polcyn, his wift and two young children from his base in Germany. Chris was deserving of some long over due R&R. They will be home to enjoy the holidays with family and friends.
Chris attended Illinois State University for year before enlisting in the Army. He trained at Fort Leonard Wood MO and then was stationed in Germany. He is returning from his first deployment to Afghanistan as Route Clearance.
We surprised Chris at the Hinsdale Oasis and then escorted him to his parents home in Oak Lawn. We arrived to a home decorated both for the Welcome Home and the Christmas Holiday. Presentations were made, pictures were taken and more hugs and thank yous were given. We left Chris knowing that there are many supporters at home.
