Ride Report for Ride Captain Joe Malandro “Joemfitter”

40 bikes, 3 cages along with Maple Shade P.D. and Maple Shade Fire & Rescue rallied at Macey’s Furniture Gallery route 38.  At Approx 12:55pm all were called in for our ride brief on our Hero Specialist Jason “JT” Maahs.  We were also joined at the rally location by some family and friends who weilded cameras to capture the moment there and also on the ride route.  A short time after the brief we headed out to pick up our Hero with Maple Shade P.D. allowing safe passage onto route 38 and after a short ride we arrived at “JT’s” Grand Parents home where our Hero came outside on the front lawn to take it all in.  After introducing myself to “JT” and mentioning to him that there were a few people who wanted to say HELLO, handshakes and hugs were bestowed upon “JT” then an extra helmet was made available and on the back of a Harley he was put and off to our destination of the Cherry Hill American Legion we went.  Maple Shade P.D. again led us onto route 38 and in mid ride handed the group off to Cherry Hill P.D. who led us in safely to where the Yellow Ribbon Club, Cherry Hill Fire Co. with ladder trucks raised with a huge American Flag draped from them, the Mayor, American Legion Post Commander, Friends and Family were waiting to greet our Hero at the Post.

In closing I’d like to thank Maple Shade Police, Fire and Rescue along with Cherry Hill Police and Fire Company.  The ride was joined by the Defenders M.C., CMA, Riders of the Lamb, Legion Riders, Last Patrol, Nam Knights, and my fellow riders of the Warriors Watch.
