Ride Report posted for Joe Malandro
35 Bikes and a couple of cages met at Rtes. 70 & 73 Department store parking lot, had our ride brief, acknowledged approx. 10-12 new riders to the WWR then along with the Cherry Hill PD made our way to a local eatery to Welcome Home our Hero Airman 1st Class Brandon Goldstein. Upon arriving a Flag Line was formed in haste as we met our Hero as he was exiting the Building.  We then gave him a warm WWR Welcome Mug and Hug as only we can do, with onlookers and patrons alike clapping, cheering and wellwishing Brandon just the same. We then asked our Hero if it would be ok if we escorted him and his family home or better still if he would join us on 2 wheels since we had an extra helmet, he oblidged and off we rode off with Cherry Hill PD leading the way and making safe passage blocking traffic intersections.  Just before the Goldstein home was fully extended with a large American Flag hanging down for us to ride under and all to see the Cherry Hill FD ladder truck and a large contingent of neighbors, friends and officers of the town of Cherry Hill.  Brandon was then greeted by the Yellow Ribbon Club who proceeded to perform their majic as well as only they can do. Ending this ride report I’d like to include an e-mail sent to me by Brandon’s Mom Beth…..
