Ride Report posted for Rick

We took cover as spring showers dampened the staging area, but not our spirits as we gathered and waited for Ranger Rick’s ride brief. We would be revisiting the home of one the 101st Airborne’s finest, Eric Tucker who returned from Afghanistan in January.  This time, Eric brought two of his buddies stationed with him at Ft. Campbell (Zach Hafner and Josh Hogue) because he wanted them to get a WWR Welcome Home just like his.

From the staging area at a local high school, we were escorted by the Palatine (IL) PD, arriving at the Tucker home with lights flashing and sirens blaring.  All three Screamin Eagles were soundly hugged and welcomed before Ranger Rick presented them with coins and beads.  It was a trifecta of Welcome Homes.
After the presentations Eric’s dad (WWR member) shooed us into the backyard for a toast to our heroes and some bbq ribs.  Welcome home, boys.  Thank you for your service and thanks for the grub.
