On a beautiful Friday many riding groups from the Pensacola area came together to honor a fallen Hero. We started gathering at the Hardee`s around 1030-1100am. The management at Hardee`s was very grateful for what we were doing and offered a 10% off on our meals.

We had many groups represented today and we want try to name them for fear of leaving someone out. We had 197 bikes in attendance and 4 cages. After the briefing we saddled up and went to the funeral home. It took some time to get all the bikes into the parking lot but everyone was very patient .

We set up a flag line and received TSgt. McClellan into the hearse and proceeded to Barrancus.

On the way to Barrancus we passed the Catholic school near the base and the teachers had all the kids standing by the road and waved as we went by. They are teaching the children about freedom and the sacrifices our military make to insure our country is the land of the free.

At Barrancus, Cindy, our Blue Star Mom presented the family with the Gold Star Banner. Terrel, Jim and Bill, our ride captains, presented the plaques and Gold Star pins. The Chaplin spoke and then we had the closing with full military honors.

The family asked me to thank everyone that attended the service. They have never been to a funeral where the PGR was involved and it was a beautiful service that they will Cherish for the rest of their lives.

We also would like to thank Terry Richardson for the wonderful plaques that he makes for the families. They are great.

We want to thank all who helped out with the parking, blocking of traffic to insure this mission was a success.
