This mission was brought to my attention by a local Funeral Home in Pittsburg, CA. This was a retired USCG E-6. Fred was the R/C on this mission since we had another mission at the same time. Fred staged with 8 bikes at the funeral home. They got staged up with flag bikes in front of the coach and headed onto the freeway towards
Sacramento National Cemetary in Dixon, CA. Once at Dixon, the ceremonies were held with Military Honors and a WWR flag line. At first, the weather seemed to be getting darker with a chance of rain. By the time they arrived at Dixon, the sky was cloudy but clear and the sun had come out to shine throughout the service. A very honorable mission complete. Farewell Nigel, farewell.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackI want to thank the Warriors Watch men that escorted my father and my family from the funeral home to Sacramento Veterans cemetery in Dixon. It was a true honor to my Dad. He would be so grateful, as we are. Thank you again. We have much respect and gratitude for what you do.
