Ride Report posted for Spike
Being a member of the Navy Reserves in Alameda,it was very important to make a good showing. Our Primary mission was to inform our service members about the American Legion Family and the benefits the Legion has to offer. Not only did we talk Legion ,but Legion Riders as well.I also had a WWR display with Flag Bikes, plenty of photos from our missions. The CO & XO were very impressed at the  dedication of all the riders. There were many other
support groups on hand BSM, one source,VA,ESGR.There were plenty of things for the kids to do from a big jumper to painting pumpkins.A dunk tank also was on hand, which the riders coughed up some cash and paid enough to get me 1st on the board, thanks guys. I took one for the team, and was the water cold.My daughter was the first up and
made the hit on her second throw. Lunch was catered in this year, and the 1st Class Petty officers club did a fantastic
breakfast. Thanks to MR1 Miranda for setting us up,Canopy, table, chairs, flag pole holders. Thanks to the NOSC for inviting us & MaMa J , Heidi,Fred,Ron for working this event with me.
