Ride Report posted for Spike

We had just left the 3 Marines Welcome Home at 1500 hrs. We jetted across town,so we could grab some chow. Joann called me and said she would leave the house at 1630 Hrs.Her other son Cpl. Aaron Mcrea will be deploying mid Sept. So,the familywas headed over to a park to take some photos, for the scrapbook. Now,Travis & Aaron were in uniform for this. And at the park little did they know the house was being invaded by Bryan ( Lafayette Flag Brigade) and Sherry(aka Snapshot) and others. They tore down their equipment and banners from the 3 Marine and re-setup at the  Mcrae’s home.So at 1725 Hrs. we headed over to the park with 13 bikes and a Flag Truck (diane).we pulled in and parked Aaron knew what was happening, but not Travis. We brought Aaron home last year,so he knows the flag bikes. We met the Marines and hugged them and chatted.Mom could not stop smiling, well I had to stall for 15 mins.

before we left,so they could finish the house. Then Snapshot called and gave me the green light,we gathered up everybody and headed out.We got to the house where PD had their lights on and we had approx 50+ folks there. Also joining was a special friend Brig. General Dan Helix who shared some wisdom of why we are there.Turned out to be a great night,Mom (joann) sang for us,The Marines were given coins, letters, and tons of hugs. Thanks to Trevor(our official WWR Chaplain) great pre-ride prayers. All the groups LFB , PMF , VFW,AL,ALR,PGR.and WWR you rock my friends
