A special request has come in for an upcoming send off of our local area National Guard that is being deployed.

UPDATE: There will be about 70 personnel departing from the Phoenixville location on 2 buses heading to FT Indiantown Gap at 9:30 am. Soldiers are to report to the post at 9:00 am. I can not be at this mission, we need someone to step up and set up a flag line at the entrance. They will be heading from the post to the turnpike. They requested an escort to the turnpike as well.

Please keep in mind that the bridge on Rapps Dam Rd is temporally closed.

Rally Point: 1159 Rapps Dam Rd, Phoenixville, Pa.
Rally Time: 8:30 AM
Flag Line in Place ASAP for the troops entering the post.

RC: Available

Successful escort. Thanks to the LEOs of East Pikeland Township who covered front/back and coordinated with West Pikeland and Uwchlan Townships PD to cover intersections as we rolled to the turnpike. Many tearful goodbyes from family and kids as the busses loaded up.
