Captain Ryan K. Iannelli, 27, of Clarksboro, was killed in action while serving his country in Afghanistan, September 28, 2011. Ryan was a Cobra helicopter Pilot with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 269. He was a graduate of Kingsway Regional High School and Oral Robert University in addition to being an esteemed officer in the United States Marine Corps.

Captain Iannelli was survived by many adoring family and friends including his mother Donna (nee Futia), father Kenneth, sister Amanda, grandfather and US Army Veteran Angelo Futia, grandmother Rose Futia and Grandfather Leo Iannelli.

Ryan loved life and lived each day to its fullest. Some of the earthly things he loved included his family, friends, baseball, good jokes, home cooked Italian food, his Country and the Marine Corps. However, his first love was Jesus Christ. Ryan's relationship with the Lord was paramount and the driving force of his life. He delighted in sharing the Gospel and seeing souls won for God's Kingdom. Ryan continued to leave his mark on this world even in death, as his testimony is still bringing souls to a relationship with Christ.
