SNJ 4/17 South Jersey Honor Flight Rally: Williamstown High School 700 Tuckahoe Road Williamstown Rally Time: 1815 Flag line: when busses arrive. ******Remember 3x5 flag***** Calling all family, friends, neighbors, community groups, fellow Veterans and military, and the general public!  After a full and emotional day in Washington D.C., one of our final surprises of the day and acts of honor and gratitude for our Veterans is the “Welcome Home” as they arrive back at Williamstown High School for their dinner and closing ceremonies. You’re ALL invited to our “Welcome Home Block Party” where there will be music, snacks, giveaways, and an air of excitement as you prepare to welcome home the buses full of our Veterans! This is particularly meaningful to our Vietnam Veterans!  So bring your signs, your flags, your cheers, and your love as you welcome home your family, friends, neighbors, and OUR Veterans!  The block party will begin at 6:00 PM in anticipation of an estimated return time of our Veterans around 7:00 PM. Williamstown High School 700 Tuckahoe Road Williamstown, NJ 08094 HONOR FLIGHT CELEBRATING OUR VETERANS OUR MISSION To celebrate America’s veterans by inviting them to share in a day of honor at our nation’s memorials. OUR VISION A nation where all of America’s veterans experience the honor, gratitude, and community of support they deserve. Honor Flight Network is a national nonprofit organization comprised of independent hubs working together to achieve the Honor Flight mission. In furtherance of this common goal, we have the enormous privilege of showing our nation’s veterans the appreciation and honor they deserve. Participation in an Honor Flight trip gives veterans the opportunity to share this momentous occasion with other comrades, remember the fallen, and share their stories and experiences with other veterans. Honored veterans always travel free of charge. While initially focused on America’s World War II veterans, Honor Flight Network has expanded its mission to include those who served during the Korean War and the Vietnam War. The Honor Flight TLC program also honors veterans of any service era who are critically ill. In order to maximize the number of American veterans served by our organization, each eligible veteran may only be honored on a single Honor Flight trip. |
