Roebling: Frederick V. Dunphy III, affectionately known to some as "Fred" and "Dunph" age 72 of Roebling, New Jersey departed this life on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at his home. Mr. Dunphy was born in Philadelphia, raised in Willingboro and was proud to call Roebling his home since 1973. He was the son of the late Frederick V. Dunphy Jr. and Antoinette R. DiEnno Dunphy. Fred was a retired union welder, the proprietor of Dunphy's Trucking and also worked for Dunphy's Landscaping. After his retirement, he was a "Starter" at the Rancocas Golf Club. He was extremely proud of his country and served his country with honor in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Mr. Dunphy was a member of Holy Assumption Church in Roebling, the Marine Corps League, Burlington County Detachment 695, life member of the DAV, Eveready Gun Club and the Teamsters Local 676. Fred will be celebrated as a loving husband, father, proud grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Some of his favorite times were spent cheering on the Phillies to victory and breeding his award-winning hunting dogs. Perhaps, his most enjoyable times were spent fulfilling the role of "Pop" to his beloved grandchildren. He is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years and high school sweetheart since they were 16 years old, KaraLyn Robinson Dunphy, his loving children and their spouses, Frederick V. IV and Gina Dunphy, Jeanine L. Dunphy and Kathleen and Anthony Elentrio, his siblings and their spouses,Antionette R. and Kenneth Dickinson and James J. and Denise M. Dunphy, his beloved grandchildren, Isabella, Delayni, Michael, Dominic, John Paul, Ciara and Patrick, several nieces, nephews, cousins and godchildren as well as many special unwavering friends. Friends may on call Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling, NJ and Thursday from 8:30 AM until church departure. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM at Holy Assumption Church, 1290 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling, NJ with Rev. Chris Colavito officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions are made to Team Foster, 900 Maple St, Conshohocken, PA 19428
