The Pennsylvania Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund and the County of Bucks invite you to see the dedication of Bucks County Bridge #36 on Stockton Ave in New Hope PA. The bridge will be dedicated to SSgt Karol Raymond Bauer, USMC. SSgt Bauer was KIA on April 30, 1967 while serving as a platoon leader with the Company M, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marines, 3rd Marine Division, at Khe Satin, Quang Tri Province. Please join us on Tuesday October 31st at noon.

SGT. Bauer's daughter was only 17 months old when her father was killed.
She was very scared & reluctant to appear at bridge dedication. She specifically asking for Marines to be near her in order to feel her father's presence.

A great turnout to honor this man lost so long ago. His daughter was unable to come, but his 91 year-0ld brother drove up from Delaware County - he looks and moves so much better than me and others. SSgt Bauer will now never be forgotten and will be known to many others who see his name.
