SEPA 10/24-B Honor Mission P/O Richard Mendez

Warriors' Watch Riders will honor P/O Richard Mendez on October 24th.

Police Officer Richard Mendez was tragically taken from his family and friends while arriving for work at the Philadelphia International Airport. He leaves behind a large loving family who will miss him dearly. He had a Masters Degree in Business and had over 67 certifications and commendations over his 22 years as Philadelphia Police Officer.

His Rite of Committal is not open to the public, so we will rally and hold a flag line as his funeral procession passes our location. Please bring your flags and rally at the west end of Route 63 expressway where it intersects with Evans Street. We expect his procession to pass after 2:00 pm, probably closer to 3:00 pm. Rest rooms are not available at that location. Those of you making the first mission will take the PA Turnpike to the rally point to avoid traffic closures.
