SEPA 10/2 Flagline Escort Phila. Police Officer Eric Tomko

Eric Tomko, a police officer and US Army Veteran was tragically killed Saturday September 16th in an off duty motorcycle accident.
While traveling down a local highway on his way t see his wife and children at the Jersey shore, a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction turned in front of Eric.
The car collided and Eric received fatal injuries.

Officer Eric Tomko has served the citizens of Philadelphia since 2008. He was assigned to the 6th District 5 Squad. Eric also served in the US Army during Operation Iraq Freedom.
He leaves behind a loving wife and two young children.
Services will be held Monday October 2nd 2023.
He will be laid to rest with Military Honors at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.

I will be attending his Funeral during work hours. SGT Tomko was a friend of mine that I served with in the PA Guard in Willow Grove. He will never be forgotten.

There was a huge show of support for this young family and they will need it to continue! It was so sad to see his very young children, too young to understand what was happening, and his young widow in such grief. Our hearts and prayers go out to them.
