ELLIS EDWARD WILLIAM, age 86, April 5, 2023. Beloved husband of Maria M. Ellis (nee Giandomenico). Devoted father of Donna (Stephen) Capuano, Cynthia (Ernest) Coccia and Catherine (Mark) Steltz. Loving grandfather of Stephen and Carlee Capuano, Christopher, Andrew and Jordan Coccia, Austin, Margaux, Mason and Alexander Steltz; great grandfather of Tessa, Andrew Coccia and Raelyn Palestini. Dear brother of John R. Ellis, also survived by nieces and nephews.

Edward was a proud veteran of the Korean War. He was a staple at the Philadelphia Food Distribution Center as a wholesaler and retailer of fruit and produce along with any seasonal products. For over half a century he was a familiar face and friend to many selling and wholesaling Christmas trees, as well as Easter and Mother's Day flowers through multiple locations throughout South Philadelphia.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Tuesday morning, April 11th, 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. at
Funeral Mass to begin 11:30 A.M. at St. Richard’s Church, 18th, and Pollock Streets.
Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA

Location: Vincent Gangemi Funeral Home, Inc. 2232-2240 S. Broad St. (at Wolf St.)
