Karl R. Mascia of Levittown PA passed December 22, 2022 with his wife and family by his side. Born in Altoona PA, Karl moved to Levittown in 1959 where he met his beloved wife of 60 years, Karen L. Mascia. He was preceded in death by his parents and five older siblings.
 
He is survived by his loving children: Karl A. (Mary), Kurt, Keith (Kathy Ilczuk), Krista (Michael Maurizi), Kevin (Melissa), Kerri (Tim McGinty); devoted grandchildren: Bailey Scully, Kurt Jr (Angela), Michael F. Scully III (Casey), Brittany Holley (Sam), Anthony, Andrew, Lindsey, Miranda, Amber, Regan McNichol; great-grandchildren: Logan Mascia, Sophia Salmi, MacKenzie Salmi, Kayla Mascia, Azura Holley; sister-in-law Rosemary Morgan, as well as multiple nephews and nieces.
 
Karl was a Veteran of the military, having served in the U.S. Navy, Army National Guard, and proudly retired from the U.S. Army after a total of 38 Service years. Carrying on his legacy of service was his son Karl A. who served 31 years with Bensalem Police Department and his granddaughters Miranda and Amber who are in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.
 
Prior to his military service he worked at U.S. Steel Fairless Works , Hay Esso Levittown PA. After retirement he worked at PreFinish Metals and Reedman Auto. When they were fully retired, Karl and Karen loved to travel to warmer climates and be “Snow Birds”. They enjoyed returning to family each summer with a ceremonial washing of the motorhome. He enjoyed ME TV, Sunday spaghetti dinners, clean cars and never turned down a good donut or sticky bun.
 
He was a member of the former St. Joseph the Worker Parish Fallsington PA, St. Joseph the Worker Home and School Association,  Queen of The Universe Parish Levittown PA, Knights Of Columbus St. Joseph the Worker Council #4215 Levittown PA, American Legion Post #834 Fallsington PA, and Boy Scouts of America. 
 
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Thursday January 5, 2023 from 9:30am until his Funeral Mass at 10:30am in Queen of the Universe Roman Catholic Church, 2443 Trenton Rd, Levittown, PA 19056. His Internment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown PA.
