SEPA 7/16-A Drive-By for 100 year old ARMY Vet

We have been asked by the commander of AMVETS Post 273 to lead a drive by thank a hero on his 100th birthday!

This parade will be consisting of police and fire departments as well as other dignitaries. Cages are welcome. Food and drinks are being offered for free back at the AMVETS hall afterwards. Food is being donated by two local restaurants.

ROBERT WENDIG, SR.'s MILITARY SERVICE:
ROBERT SERVED TWO YEARS IN THE ARMY. HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE GHOST BRIGADE/PHANTOM DIVISION, RANK: BUCK SERGENT, 3 STRIPES

WHILE ROBERT WENDIG WAS IN THE ARMY HE ATTENDED, THE UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO. ROBERT SPENT TIME IN THE ARMY WHILE IN ENGLAND AND FRANCE BEFORE RETURNING HOME TO PENNSYLVANIA ON A FRENCH SHIP. HE THEN COMPLETED HIS BUSINESS DEGREE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA, WHARTON SCHOOLOF BUSINESS. ROBERT WENDIG MARRIED MARY JUNE HORNER. ROBERT WENDIG SR. WAS A MANUFACTORS SALES TOOL & DYE REPRESENTIVE FOR A NUMBER OF COMPANIES AND CORPORATIONS.

ROBERT EMMETT SR. HAS THREE GROWN CHILDREN, ONE DAUGHTER-LAW, ONE SON IN-LAW AND NINE GREAT GRAND CHILDREN.
