Sanctioned Mission Patriot Alliance has been asked by the Charlie Strange Foundation to assist in the Grand Opening of the Gold Star Garden at Miller Meadow Community Park in Hatboro. Details of our responsibilities are to hold a Flag Line as the Gold Star families are welcomed into the park. Patriot Alliance and other MCs will meet nearby and escort the families the last mile. This garden was designed to create a peaceful, serene area for reflection while honoring those who have served, or are serving, in the military. This garden will provide support to the men and women who give everything to defend our country and represent an everlasting gratitude for centuries to come. Gold Star Families are comprised of spouses, parents, children, siblings, and others whose family members died in service to our country. Gold Star Families are a vital part of the military community and receive the utmost honor and respect. The center of the garden will be adorned with the Fallen Soldier memorial statue to honor those our country has lost. The American Flag and Gold Star flag will be flown proudly above the garden with decorative lighting throughout the area to keep the memory of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice shining on.
