SEPA 7/17 Send-Off Emily Huff US NAVY Warriors' Watch has been requested to give this future hero an escort from her home to the recruiter's office in Lansdale Pa. Let's show this American that we are with her from the start!! Emily Morgan Huff enlisted as a Yeoman in the US Navy with a ship date of July 17th 2022 to Great Lakes for boot camp. Emily is currently a senior at Perkiomen Valley High School in Collegeville PA. At 14 she enrolled in The Sea Cadets organization. Through her 4 years in the unit she has attended EMS training, recruit training, and Petty Officer Leadership Academy. She currently holds the rank of PO3. Outside of Sea Cadets, Emily has a love of photography, forensics, and her future career goal is law enforcement. She is the 2nd oldest child of 6 children, one of 2 daughters. She is an amazing big sister to her brother Jaxon especially. Emily is driven, focused, hardworking and determined. She has always stood up for and protected those weaker than her. It is no surprise to us that she decided to stand for her country and protect us all. Great turnout from Warriors' Watch and Blue Comet to escort Emily to the Navy recruiter! A couple people were going to accompany the family to the hotel in Cherry Hill, but most left for other commitments and/or to give the family and close friends their privacy for that 'goodbye for now' time. (Proud of Mom; no tears, but I'm thinking there will be.) Good luck Emily! Have fun and learn a lot! |
