Francis Andrew McGonigle "Frank", of Philadelphia, passed away on May 18th 2022 at the age of 49. Frank was the loving husband of Kimberly A. McGonigle (nee Siejna) for 9 years of marriage, and over 20 years of companionship. Frank will also be greatly missed by his siblings; Robert J. McGonigle, Timothy M. McGonigle (Rachel), Traci Sanginiti, and Lori Guido (nee Hetrick), his son Zachary, his mother Gail McGonigle-Sanginiti (the late Gregory Sanginiti), many caring nieces and nephews, as well as his stepdaughter Ashley Bryan and grandchildren; Chase, Stevie Lynn, and Chance.
Frank was born to Gail A. McGonigle-Sanginiti (nee McGreevy) and the late Francis Aiden McGonigle. He was raised in NE Philadelphia with his siblings and attended Our Lady of Ransom grade school and Father Judge high school. He was a proud member of the class of 1991. While at Father Judge, Frank received many athletic accomplishments. He would play varsity soccer and received All-Catholic Honors as a center defender.
After high school, Frank joined the United States Navy. He proudly served for four years on the USS Constellation (CV64) working on the Flight Deck, then later with the Weapons Unit, and finished his military service with the reserves.
After his time in the Navy, Frank pursued a career within the Plumbers trade. He would go on to have a lengthy career as a Master Plumber with the Local #690.
Frank was happiest when he was sitting outside on the deck listening to music; especially Pearl Jam. He loved spending time at the shore, fishing with friends, taking in the salt air, and taking his grandchildren to the park. Frank will be remembered for his hard work ethic, loyalty, goofy laugh, and helping those in need.
