From Greg Padovani, Chairman, Veterans Memorial Committee of Arlington Heights The 103rd Annual Arlington Heights Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony will be held on: Monday, May 30, 2022 Parade Steps off at 9:30 am Ceremony begins at 11:00 am Arrive in assembly area no later than 9:00 am (earlier is better) There is no charge to march in this parade. Please keep in mind that the true purpose of Memorial Day is to honor and remember our Nation’s Fallen Heroes. In our town, we honor and remember Arlington’s Fallen Heroes – the 58 young men from our town who died in the service of our Nation – from the Civil War to Afghanistan. Finally, please join our community at the 2022 Memorial Day Ceremony at Memorial Park. Memorial Park is just one block West of the AH Memorial Library. The Ceremony begins at 11 am. The Memorial Day Parade has always been meant to gather our community and bring us to the Memorial Day Ceremony. This is where we honor and remember Arlington’s Fallen Heroes. |
