Rally:Union Valley Elementary School 1300 Jarvis Rd. Sicklerville NJ. Rally Time: 1415 KSU: 1500
I'm sure by now a lot of you have heard that our past State Coordinator RedBeard has taken on another mission up above with the rest of our Angels. On Saturday January 29th we will be having a remembrance ride in honor of our dear friend. We will take a short ride past the family home to show the family how much we appreciate them for sharing RedBeard with us . This will be a respectful quiet ride past the house no revving of the engines nor blowing horns.
Richard Kenneth Brewer--a loving family man and follower of Jesus Christ--entered into God's Kingdom on December 29th 2021 at age 62. Rich was born November 18th, 1959 in Mount Holly, New Jersey to Kenneth and Theresa Brewer (Lombardo). He grew up in Marlton and graduated from Cherokee High School in 1978, where he met his high school sweetheart Sandra Brewer (Casassa). They married in 1981 and spent 40 joyful and humorous years together on a beautiful journey. Rich joined the Navy in 1979 and took to the seas aboard the USS Thomas C. Hart. Many adventures were had, from Biscottis in Italy to a standoff with a Russian Warship, but for him, the greatest adventure was waiting back home with his wife and growing family. After an honorable discharge from the Navy in 1986, Rich began a career at the Philadelphia International Airport where he worked as a Radar Technician/Security Systems Specialist for 32 years. Rich loved his job and especially the people that he worked with. He could often be found pulling elaborate pranks on his coworkers, always looking to bring smiles to them, and they would say, "It didn't feel like work when Rich was around". Rich cared deeply for our Veterans and put it into action by serving as New Jersey State Coordinator for the Warriors Watch Riders. With them, he planned countless events to honor returning and fallen heroes. Known by them as 'Redbeard', he loved being able to ride his Harley alongside his brothers and sisters on the watch. A playful and positive person from the beginning to the end, Rich saw every moment as an opportunity for fun. A man who would skate up to your workplace wearing a clown costume. A man who could build anything from a few scraps of wood. A man who made Halloween so special that adults and children would come from many towns over to see what he came up with every year. Rich found the most happiness with his family, when everyone was 'under one roof'. He considered himself 'blessed beyond belief' to have his 3 children, and that blessing grew for him as his 5 grandchildren came into the world. To them, he was 'Pop Pop', and his specialty was his calm and patient nature with each of them. How he whispered into their little ears, attacked their piggy toes, and hummed them to sleep while they rested on his big heart. His beautiful legacy will continue on in them and in all his friends old and new. He would ask that we all stay in prayer and give thanks to God through His precious son, Jesus. His memory is kept alive by his wife Sandy; his mother Theresa; his brother Edward; his sisters Diane Carr (Michael), Kathy Curcio (Edward), and Donna Brown (Steve); his children Randy, Wesley (Ashley Solinski), and Katie (John Martino); and his grandchildren Vivvian, Maddison, Rames, Hunter, and Helios and many dear in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and good friends. There will be no service at this time, with a Celebration of Life to follow at a later date. In God is my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, And my refuge, is in God. Psalm 62:7
