SEPA 2/18 H/M ROGER "CHIP" BERNACKI US AIR FORCE
We have been asked to set up an escort and flag line at the services of Air Force Veteran Roger "Chip" Bernacki.
Here are a few words from his daughter Sandie: Like many Vietnam Veterans my father never spoke much of his service. He only spoke about being a Sentry Dog handler and his dogs Duke and Fred along with his training dog Snowball. He lost Duke over there and had to leave Fred behind when he came home. He carried their pictures in his wallet till the day he passed. To say he loved his dogs is an understatement. Unfortunately that is all we know of his time in Vietnam. But, he was still our hero!
If you choose to participate in the escort, you will rally at the Croydon Fire House. If you wish to go directly to Washington's Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Avenue, Newtown Pa., 18940, services begin at 2:30 pm, sharp.
Rally Point: Croydon Volunteer Fire Company, 911 State Road, Croydon Pa 19021 Rally Time: 12:30 pm KSU: 1:00 pm
RC: Lou (Throatpunch) Liberty
