Good Day Brothers and Sisters,

I tried making this a mission like the past when WWR was asked to volunteer with traffic and parking, the event is now changed and will not be feasible to ride in together, I suggest if you’re volunteering to come and go as you can, see the message below from WCNC and the wreath protocol

Bigbill

Dear Wreaths Across America Supporters,
Thank you for your tremendous support of the Washington
Crossing Wreaths for Veterans (WCWV). Because of your
generous financial support, we achieved mission enabling us
to place a wreath at each of the 19,000 headstones! We are
excited about the Wreath event at the Washington Crossing
National Cemetery on Saturday, December 18th.
WREATH PLACEMENT PROTOCOL
• Please take only two wreaths at a time. You may return to
lay as many wreaths as you like, two at a time.
• Respectfully say the veterans name and then placed the
wreath flat on the ground centered in front of the headstone
with the ribbon at the top. Do not lean the wreath against the
stone. If there is already a blanket, wreath or flowers at the
gravesite, you should still place a wreath.
IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION
• We all must realize the numbers at WCNC are growing
exponentially and with that, so are we, as we maintain the
spirit of this tradition. This year we will be laying wreaths in
waves with 1 hour spacing to help avoid traffic issues and
utilize all our volunteers. We ask that you please be patient
and courteous as the cemetery is hallowed ground. This
year, we have over 3,000 volunteers, and our goal is to let
everyone be part of this event. Individual notifications are
not possible due to the size of the event.
• Starting at 9:30-10:30am we will be laying wreaths in
Section 6A, 6 and 7. We are asking volunteers with last
names starting with A-M to join us at this time.
• Starting at 10:45-1130am we will be laying wreaths in
Section 1 and 3. We are asking volunteers with last names
starting with N-Z to join us at this time.
• The ceremony will start at 11:45am till approximately
12:30pm. At that time, we will continue with the remaining
sections.
• The cemetery is open from sunrise to sunset and wreaths
will be available during that time for placement.
• Parking and buses will NOT be provided
