H. William (Bill) Freed passed away November 27, 2021. He was he beloved husband of Diane (Miller) Freed, his wife of 59 years.
He served in the U, S. Navy active duty from 1962 to 1965 aboard the Arnold J. Itsbell DD869 based in San Diego, CA.
Bill was an avid sailor and sailed for many years on the Chesapeake Bay. He was an accomplished CPA and Financial Advisor and operated his own firm for many years. After retiring from his accounting practice he and his wife toured our National Parks and Florida via motor home.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Stephanie Freed (Manuel) of Tiverton, R.I. and Heather A. Chandler (Robert) of Bayport, NY; two grandchildren, C. Rex Bartolini and Gabriell R. Bartolini; and his sister Sara F. Parker (Thomas) of Malvern, PA.
Memorial Services will be held at WCNC, December 21, 2021 at 2:30 PM.
We will set up a flag line at WCNC for Mr. Freed at this time.
