2021 Veteran’s Day Ceremony of Will County 145 Veterans Parkway New Lenox, IL Wed Nov 10th, 2021 Hello Community Leaders & Advocates – Attached is the official invite to the 2021 Veteran’s Day Ceremony VAC of Will County is co-hosting with the Village of New Lenox, VFW Post 9545, and American Legion 1977. This will be the event that sets the bar high for years to come. The program will start at 11 AM. New Lenox Mayor Tim Baldermann will be on the Village Common’s stage as Master of Ceremonies. Our MC will highlight some of the Village’s veteran projects & provide introductions to keynote speakers. The outdoor ceremony will conclude by 12 PM (Noon). Limited seating will be provided for those that need it. From there, attendees will be invited to see Portraits of a Solider in the New Lenox Village Hall Rotunda. Former Governor Pat Quinn will be arriving at 1230 to present new IL Gold Star Families the original portrait of their fallen service member. Coffee & pastries will be provided. The Village of New Lenox also sponsored The Moving Wall, which will be available for viewing at American Legion Post 1977 @ 14414 Ford Dr, New Lenox, IL 60451. This is the first time in history The Moving Wall & Portraits of a Solider will be available for viewing at the same time in the same town. I hope we have a strong representation from Will County leaders and veteran community supporters. Thank you for your continued support of the VAC of Will County and our veterans. |
