Please come out to welcome home and thank US Army Colonel Jeff Brownlee:


US Army Colonel Jeff Brownlee is 54 years old and retired from the US Army in August, 2021.

He has served almost 36 years (since 1985).

Past deployments include Iraq and Kosovo.

Jeff’s Dad swore him into the Army in November, 1985 as an E1. Jeff worked his way up to E6 before commissioning as an Armor Officer in 1993 and ultimately retiring as an O6.

He was a Helicopter Crew Chief for the 150th Combat Aviation Battalion, Aircraft Mechanic, Armor training office for the 3rd Battalion 102nd Armor which later converted to the 5th Squadron 117th Cavalry where he remained as the Training Officer, Assistant S4 for the 50th Brigade where he held Company Command as the HHC Commander of the 50th Brigade, Full Time support supervisor of the 5th Squadron 117th Cavalry.

He held positions within recruiting, JDOMS and the JT2DC.

He was the S4 for the 50th IBCT where he deployed with the Command as the Brigade S4 and Director of Logistics International Zone Iraq.

Jeff served as the XO of the 250th Brigade Support Battalion. He served as the Deputy J3 JDOMS, Surface Maintenance Manager, Commander of the 1st Squadron 102nd Cavalry, XO of 57th Troop Command, Deputy Chief of Staff Director of Logistics (G4.)

He volunteered for a deployment to Kosovo where he served as the Chief of Staff, Military Assistant to the Kosovo Force Commander as well as the Senior National Representative for all United States Forces in Kosovo.

He finished his career as the Commander of the 254th Regiment.

Jeff has a Bachelor’s of Science in General Business from Regent’s College and has completed Command and General Staff College.

Jeff was recognized by the US Cavalry and Armor Association for his long and honorable service to Armor and Calvary and was admitted as a Distinguished Knight in The Order of St. George.

Jeff met his wife Amanda in 2016 when she was a guest at a surprise party being held at Jeff’s house of a mutual friend. They married in 2018.

Jeff has two sons; Eric and Evan and three stepchildren; Connor, Tyler and Kayla

Connor is with the NJ National Guard who was sworn in by Jeff three years ago. Jeff also pinned Connor while with the Rutgers ROTC.

Jeff has started his own management consulting company which is currently providing support to Fort Bragg, NC.

Hobbies include; hunting, fishing, reading and traveling.
