This request comes from one of our own.

I am a 10 year Veteran of the United States Air Force who honorably served and was deployed overseas after the tragic events unfolded on 9/11. My 10yr old son, Joey, plays football for the Northampton Indians Pop Warner Team located in Northampton Township (Richboro, PA). Your group helped provide military honors and support for my grandfather, Rocco Iorio, last February 2020. We are seeking assistance from your group again for the following 9/11 recognition ceremony held this Saturday in Richboro, Pa.




The Northampton Indians Football and Cheerleading Association (NIFA) plans to recognize all first responders and military personnel to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the tragic events that occurred on 9/11. NIFA intends to dedicate this weekend’s slate of football games in honor of all Northampton Township police, fire and military, active duty, and veterans who continue to sacrifice their lives for the safety and security of this great community.



Prior to the 11:00am with our 10U Indians vs Quakertown, NIFA will recognize all first responders and military personnel with a moment of silence in remembrance of all those who lost their lives on 9/11 and subsequent military operations in support of the war against terrorism. In addition, NIFA anticipates having all first responders and military in attendance participate in player introductions, culminating with the tentative military presentation of colors and the National Anthem. Warriors' Watch are being asked also to Stand a Flag Line during this Ceremony.
