Robert J. Patterson Jr., longtime Pennsauken resident passed away Thursday, June 25, 2021. He was 70. A US Navy veteran, Bob was a beloved part of the Pennsauken Public School District who worked as a bus aide. Prior to that he had dedicated many years as a dispatcher for the Camden Police Department. He had a beautiful singing voice and was a gregarious man who served as an Usher at St. Peter RC Church in Merchantville during the 9:30 am Mass. Bob was also a longtime member of the American Legion Post 372 of Cherry Hill.
All are invited to his visitation Thursday evening from 6 to 7 pm at the Gaskill-Brown Funeral Home, 33 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville. Graveside service with Naval honors will be held 10 am Friday at the NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown. Those wishing to attend should meet at the cemetery entrance 10 minutes prior.
