On June 26, 2021 we lost another great veteran, Thomas Waltenburg.

After graduating high school in Port Huron, MI in 1971, Thomas enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he became a Boiler Tech and served 20 years before retiring.

His third and final assignment was aboard the USS John F. Kennedy.

John was active in numerous VFWs and American Legions, most recently serving as Vice Commander at McHenry's American Legion Riverside Canteen Post 491.

At the family's request, we will escort Thomas's remains to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421
