John W. "Jack" Lex, Jr., age 87, of Hi-Nella, passed away on June 24, 2021. Devoted father of Susan Lex (Frank Cassella), John Lex III (Christine Morrison), and the late Christopher. Loving grandfather of Cody, Dylan, Gianna, Natalie, Colin, John IV, and Amanda. Also survived by his brothers James and Albert Lex, and many dear nieces, nephews, and friends.



Jack was a Veteran of the US Army and a longtime mail carrier for the original Somerdale Post Office. He then went on to work at Bells School, where he loved working with children. One of his life's passions was riding Harley-Davidsons, which he did up until he was 85 years old. He loved to read newspapers and was an avid obituary reader.



Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday evening, July 1st 6-8pm at Eugene J. Zale Funeral Home, 712 N. White Horse Pike, Stratford, NJ 08084 and Friday morning 10-11am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish -St. Lawrence Church, 135 N. White Horse Pike, Lindenwold, NJ 08021. Funeral Mass 11am. Burial following in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin.
