SEPA 5/5 H/M Escort Robert Sandy US ARMY Korean War Warriors' Watch has been asked to take part in honoring this hero and escort him to his final resting place. His son, Ed Sandy states: I wanted to reach out to you. I’ve done some rides with you. My road name is Godzilla. Any my uncle passed away early Thursday morning. Service will be at John Freed in Glenside this Wednesday the 5th at 10 then to hillside cemetery off the Susquehanna road entrance. My uncle was a true bad ass. He was artillery in the army. Then was drafted for the Korean War. He went in to the 101st airborne. He was a lieutenant. I’m unsure of the years of his service. He never liked to talk about it much. It would be an honor for some of the group to escort him to his final resting place. His wife of 71 years passed just 8 months ago. There will be a full military honors burial. Thank you.
