The family and loved ones of Cpl Richard Gene Rogers have honored the Warriors Watch Riders (Patriot Guard Riders are welcome to participate as well) with a request for a Final Salute and an escort to our hero’s final resting place at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (MVC) where we will stand a flag line while military honors are rendered.
According to the DD214 for this period, Cpl Rogers served 9 years 4 months 27 days on active duty. 1 years and 2 months 22 days were overseas duty. During this time he was awarded the Rifle Sharpshooter Badge, Meritorious Unit Commendation, and Presidential Unit Citation among other awards
Cpl Rogers was born in Springfield, MO on August 20, 1948 and passed away in Springfield, MO on March 30, 2021. He was the son of Carl and Betty Rogers. Obituary is not available at this time.
