The family of Spc Hammer has honored the Warriors’ Watch Riders with a request for a flag line only (NO ESCORT) at their loved ones memorial service to be held at the Greenlawn East Funeral Home, Springfield, MO. All riders including the Patriot Guard Riders are welcome and encouraged to attend to stand a flag line for this hero.
Hero Hammer proudly and honorably served in the USA from 1999-2004 as a Military Policeman. He earned and was awarded the Army Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Kosovo Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Army Service Ribbon and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Medal.
After hero Hammers military service he became a corrections officer at the Greene Co Mo Jail and worked there for approximately 10 years and later became a corrections officer for the US Medical Center for Federal Prisoners in Springfield, MO.
Hero Hammer was a devoted family man with a wife and two children. He was extremely creative and artistic woodworker. He was an adventurous man who loved the outdoors, exploring, kayaking, fishing, and riding his motorcycle.
