The Warriors’ Watch Riders have been honored with a request from the family of retired Sgt. (E5) John Herbert Luther to provide a final salute at the Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, then escort our hero to his final resting place at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery (MVC) where we will stand a flag line while full military honors are rendered. All riders are welcome to assist us in honoring this true American Hero.
Hero Luther proudly and honorably served in the USAF for 10 years before transitioning to the MOARNG where he served for an additional 12 years. Our hero was awarded numerous awards, medals and ribbons, including, but not limited to the Air Force Good Conduct Medal, the Air Force Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Longevity Service Award, Army Service Ribbon, and numerous others.
A complete obituary is not available at the time of this posting and additional information about our hero will be presented at the Mission Briefing.
