The family of USAF MSgt. (E-7) Wallace O. “Walley” Pedigo has honored the Warriors’ Watch Riders with a request for an escort from the Walnut Lawn Funeral Home to our hero’s final resting place at the White Chapel Cemetery, Springfield, MO and there to stand a flag line where full military honors will be rendered.
Hero Pedigo served proudly and honorably in the US Air Force from May 1952 until May 1972, and rose to the rank of Master Sgt., working primarily in food services. He took voluntary retirement after logging 20 years and 3 days in service to his country. His awards include the Air Force Longevity Service Award with 4 bronze oak leaf clusters, Air Force Good Conduct Medal with 2 bronze oak leaf clusters, National Defense Service Medal with one bronze service star, Air Force Commendation Medal, and the Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon.
Hero Pedigo was born in Wisdom, KY, on March 14, 1933, and died January 27, 2021. His obituary was not available at the time of posting. Hopefully, we will have it available at the briefing.
