Good Morning PMF! To put into words how fabulous Alex’s homecoming was is certainly a challenge! What an incredible experience to be on the receiving side of the celebration. We really pulled one over on him – I almost felt bad! He had absolutely no clue what was in store for him, even at Mexico Lindo when we saw the WWR pulling into the parking lot! When the group came into the restaurant hollering for “Alex!!” our Alex thought they were looking for one of our favorite waiters also named Alex! Ha! I didn’t even think about that! When they finally said “Marine, where are you?” Alex stood up with a big grin on his face. Honestly, Alex thought the whole event was great. Later in the evening, I went into the living room to find Alex and a good friend going through all the certificates, coins, quilt and other items and he was just shaking his head. Just amazed by all of the support, love and good wishes. Thank you to Dorothy, our homecoming queen, for putting this all together. Thank you to Eric and Al for all the set-up and to Sherry for documenting the day with her photos. Thank you to Dave for “MCing”. Thank you to all that presented, attended and gave my boy hugs.
