Dear, dear Spike and Wrecker !! I am writing just to tell you that our hearts are still so full of thanks and joy at the wonderful service you gave to my Dad and to us, his family on Saturday in Livermore. None of us can let the day go by without a smile on our face for all the joy we feel at the great honor you and your riders bestowed on our dad and his years of military service to our great country. My husband, Gary was in awe; he spoke to Trevor just by chance a couple weeks ago when my Dad first died while we were getting his car smogged from his place of business. After just a short chat with him, we were directed to get in touch with you men and from there ... well, let’s just say, my Dad was definitely at attention and smiling all at the same time from his seat in heaven!! You never knew of my dad until I got in touch with you and yet you treated him and his family as if he was a friend and fellow countryman and it touched us all very, very much. When all the dust settles here for all of us, we would like to send a donation to your organization to help you keep on honoring others, so would you please let me know an address for sending it (possibly a local chapter ??)
