I just received this letter from USAF Airman Jacob Lay’s Grandfather, Bill Cleary. I am sorry it took me so long to put this together. I started a number of times in my head but couldn’t get it on paper. I kept coming up with new remarks I wish I had said when I stood in Ron and Rita’s driveway. You have a magnificent organization that performs a fantastic service, not only for the present day members of the military, but also for the ex-service people like myself. I never felt such pride to be included in the activities you performed for Jacob. I tried to thank as many of the participants as I could personally, but I hope you will read this letter to everyone so all will know I appreciated what they did. I wish everyone a happy and safe New Year and God be with you on all your future rides. I will never forget what you did! Thank you again. God be with you, Bill Cleary |
