People LOVE our Flag Lines!!!!! This is from Brian Freas of the Collegeville Fire Department Lee, I continue to hear comments about how much runners enjoyed running through the flags in the beginning and end of the race. Over the last 3 years if I had to pick a comment or review that I have heard most often it is hands down the involvement of your group - you practically make my entire event just by being there. I get many questions as to who you guys are and hear great feedback from people who really feel inspired running through those flag lines. Please pass along my thank you to everyone involved and I hope we can work together next year. Also - I have many left over patches from the run. If you think your folks that were there that day would like one please let me know how many and where I can send them to you. I need to do a better job at remembering to hand out left over items at the event itself instead of trying to do it after the fact but I never seem to have a full handle on everything that I need to do in that moment. Thanks again Brian Kind of make it all worthwhile doesn't it? I assured him we will be there next October too! Thanks to all our member who made this so memorable! .......and a shout out for our Maria who finished quite well in the race! LeeW |
