Ride Report for Ride Captain Jason”Chatterbox”&Tonya”Forbidd3n”

On May 4th, WNY Warriors’ Watch Riders laid to rest a Hero from the Owego Fire Dept, Captain Matthew Porcari who died in the line of duty on January 21, 2013. We had the honor of escorting a true Hero, father, friend, and someone that was a great contributor to his community and family to his resting place.
Captain Matthew Porcari, died in the line of duty doing what he loved in a mutual aide fire assisting the Newark Valley Fire Department.Anything you read about Matt, or hear about him; you hear what a great guy and immediate friend he was. He contributed to his community every chance he could and even gave his life for what he believed to be the right thing to do.
WNY WWR have done a series of Missions for this Hero and his family over the past four months and are honored to be able to help them celebrate his life before we sent him off and said our good- byes.  As with any of our missions the Porcari’s have become like family to all of us in WNY.We had an awesome turn out  (about 70 bikes) and we would like to thank members from the following Chapters of the Warriors’ Watch Riders organization: NEPA, ENY, CPA, and SEPA for coming out and representing their respective Chapters. We would also like to send out a special thank you to local clubs and MC’s that took time out to ride with us to honor a fellow Hero and friend. A huge thank you to 5 Star limo for donating a stretch Lincoln Navigator limo to the Porcari family to give the Porcari children the rock star treatment they deserve.
May you rest in Peace Matt and know your family is being looked upon.
Final note: A member of the Porcari family has contacted us for a Mission on June1st for benefit golf competition that we have highly promoted since its announcement.
