Report for Ride Captain Tim

Sims visit is best described as “abuzz'”. There has not been that much excitement at this location since the fellow that laid all the bricks for the building, discovered mortar. WWR members arrived to find the building was already occupied with movie stars, comedians, and musical geniuses such as Elvis and Rod. A USO show was ramping up to perform for an excited audience. The activities room is where it was all unfolding, and visiting WWR assisted in filling the room to capacity with residents. American Legion Post 392 performed a retro USO show, it’s second run, to a very happy crowd. There was some chit-chat about the recent ballgame that will probably continue until the next chance to break the seemingly unbreakable tie that plagues the ongoing contest.
Thanks to all members for your support. A special thanks to the amazing staff of the Sims Veterans Home. You men and women define the word selfless. Thanks again for watching over all those that have watched over us.
