Ride Report for Ride Captain AeroPilot
On a calm Sunday evening of March 24th, the family of LCPL Ryan Coulston was enjoying dinner with their son who was home for a short leave with his Girlfriend Melissa at a local eatery.  Warriors Watch Riders and A Hero’s Welcome rallied nearby, awaiting the call from Ryan’s sister.

Ryan graduated from Quakertown Community High School in 2008, and then joined the Marines in the spring of 2009.  He has served in Japan and Afghanistan over the past few years, and was home to see his family.  Military service is not something new to this family.  Both Ryan’s Grandfathers have served as well as his Great Grandfather.

The call came in right on time, and Warriors Watch along with escort provided by the Quakertown Police Dept, Richland Township Police, and the Trumbauersville Fire Department left the rally point and pulled into the local eatery to surprise Ryan.  He saw our arrival from inside, but was in awe at the turnout of men and women when he walked outside.  After a few moments, everyone gathered again to give our Hero an escort home.

The escort went smoothly, and we soon pulled into his home and also the home of his Grandfather, William.  Everyone gathered as Ryan expressed his gratitude for the welcome home and we then presented him with the Warriors Watch Honor Coin as a token of our thanks for his service to his community and country.  We then also coined William, a WWII veteran and proud grandfather.  A Hero’s Welcome presented each of them a retired star and Certificate of Appreciation and Thanks for their Service.
