Ride Report for Ride Captain Glen DeVries
Not rain, nor snow can stop the WWR from welcoming home our heroes.  Not even changing the airport the hero was suppose to land at will stop the WWR.  That is what happened on this mission.  Josh was bumped from his flight into Midway but was able to catch a flight to O’Hare.  With some last minute planning and communication, we were able to give our hero the welcome home he deserved.
Josh hadn’t seen his mom for two years and there was no way we weren’t going to make this happen.  We greeted Josh with cheers and thank yous at the O’Hare Oasis at 12:00AM.  Even at this time of night, we had about 15 bikes and 6 cars. It was a perfect night to welcome home a hero.  We presented Josh with coins and beads and had him sign the banner.  Pictures were taken and we were off to get our hero home to Indiana.
Needless to say there were tears of joy flowing from mom and grins from ear to ear from Josh.   Thank you Josh for volunteering to protect our freedom.
